Our team at FMI have taken the ultra reliable Toyota Sienna and engineered a world class Power Toyota Rear Entry Wheelchair Conversion blending it perfectly to the existing vehicles body. To begin the process we must first lower the floor to increase the vertical headroom through the rear door so wheelchair users can remain in their wheelchair or scooter while entering and exiting. In doing this we follow the highest crash test standards that have a zero tolerance for failure. After constructing the new lowered floor it comes time to add the power stowing and deploying ramp allowing power and manual wheelchairs the ability to roll up the ramp into the Kneelvan. Featuring our exclusive iso-Parabolic kneeling system, this will reduce the ramp angle to ensure maxim safety both loading and un-loading. With the push of a button the power rear lift gate will open, the power ramp will lower to the ground, while the rear of the van will automatically lower reducing the ramp slope for power and manual wheelchairs users. When properly equipped, those who wish to drive will have the freedom of choice to do so in the Power Toyota Rear Entry Wheelchair Van Conversion.
Lowered Floor
The most important part when engineering a wheelchair accessible van is the lowered floor. Without the floor being lowered from the conventional factory height, most wheelchair users would not fit through the rear door or even the side door. With the new lowered floor, individuals in wheelchairs can enter and exit the power Toyota rear entry wheelchair van without having to lower themselves to get through the door entering the van.
